And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honored over Pharaoh, and over all his army; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.

And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with a high hand.

And the LORD said to Moses, When you go to return into Egypt, see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in your hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.

And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not listen to them; as the LORD had spoken to Moses.

And indeed for this very reason have I raised you up, to show in you my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

The LORD of hosts has sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:

For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he has completely destroyed them, he has delivered them to the slaughter.

Therefore he has mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardens.

But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD your God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into your hand, as appears this day.

And you shall consume all the people which the LORD your God shall deliver to you; your eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shall you serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto you.

But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.

If one man sins against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sins against the LORD, who shall appeal for him? Nevertheless they did not listen to the voice of their father, because the LORD intended to slay them.
