And the sun stood still, and the moon held back, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

And Samson called to the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray you, and strengthen me, I pray you, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged on the Philistines for my two eyes.

Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves.
