Your wrath lies heavy upon me, and you have afflicted me with all your waves. Selah.

Behold, instead of peace I had great bitterness: but you have in love for my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for you have put all my sins behind your back.

But Zion said, The LORD has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me.

Then said the LORD to me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go away.

And I will put you out of my sight, as I have put out all your kindred, even the whole people of Ephraim.

Waters flowed over my head; then I said, I am cut off.

Then he said to me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost: as for us, we are cut off.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he knelt upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did before.

When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto you, into your holy temple.
