Truly, truly, I say to you, If a man keeps my saying, he shall never see death.

What man is he that lives, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.

Truly I say to you, There are some standing here, who shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

And it was revealed to him by the Holy Spirit, that he should not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our dwelling with him.

Remember the word that I said to you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

I have revealed thy name to the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept thy word.

Truly, truly, I say to you, He who hears my word, and believes in him who sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but has passed from death to life.

This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat of it, and not die.

Then spoke Jesus again to them, saying, I am the light of the world: he who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Then said the Jews to him, Now we know that you have a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and you say, If a man keeps my saying, he shall never taste of death.

Yet you have not known him; but I know him: and if I would say, I do not know him, I would be a liar like you: but I know him, and keep his saying.

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death, and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every person.
