And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in him because of the saying of the woman, who testified, He told me all that I ever did.
These twelve Jesus sent out, and commanded them, saying, Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans do not enter:
And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
Then many of the Jews who came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed in him.
Come, see a man, who told me all things that I ever did: is not this the Christ?
Then they went out of the city, and came to him.
I sent you to reap that on which you performed no labor: other men labored, and you have entered into their labors.
So when the Samaritans had come to him, they pleaded with him that he would stay with them: and he stayed there two days.
And said to the woman, Now we believe, not because of your saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.
Then he came to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
(For his disciples were gone away to the city to buy food.)
