He who comes from above is above all: he who is of the earth is earthly, and speaks of the earth: he who comes from heaven is above all.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All power is given to me in heaven and on earth.

John bore witness of him, and cried out, saying, This was he of whom I spoke, He that comes after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.

He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s strap I am not worthy to unloose.

This is he of whom I said, After me comes a man who is preferred before me: for he was before me.

He must increase, but I must decrease.

Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

Then truly the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and an earthly sanctuary.

Who has gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject to him.

They are of the world: therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

And he has on his garment and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
