Jesus said to him, Thomas, because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are those who have not seen, and yet have believed.
But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
And blessed is she who believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
And Thomas answered and said to him, My Lord and my God.
Then went in also that other disciple, who came first to the sepulcher, and he saw, and believed.
Then said Jesus to him, Unless you see signs and wonders, you will not believe.
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the anger of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, did not receive the promise:
Whom having not seen, you love; in whom, though now you do not see him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
