Jesus answered him, I spoke openly to the world; I always taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, where the Jews always gather; and in secret have I said nothing.

Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

But, lo, he speaks boldly, and they say nothing to him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is really the Christ?

Then cried out Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, You both know me, and you know where I am from: and I have not come of my own will, but he that sent me is true, whom you know not.

For there is no one that does any thing in secret, while he himself seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, show yourself to the world.

And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came to him; and he sat down, and taught them.

I have many things to say and to judge concerning you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard from him.

For the king knows of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.
