I have revealed thy name to the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept thy word.

For I have given to them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is from God, he has seen the Father.

Then said they to him, Where is your Father? Jesus answered, You neither know me, nor my Father: if you had known me, you would have known my Father also.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself cleansed away our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

I write to you, fathers, because you have known him that is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.
