Thomas said to him, Lord, we do not know where you are going; and how can we know the way?

Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;

He answered him, and said, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I endure you? Bring him to me.

Then he said to them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

Then said Thomas, who is called Didymus, to his fellow disciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.

And where I go you know, and the way you know.

This is my commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you.

But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asks me, Where are you going?
