Jesus said to him, If you will be perfect, go and sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak of my own will: but the Father who dwells in me, he does the works.
Then answered Jesus and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do: for whatever things he does, these also does the Son likewise.
Then cried out Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, You both know me, and you know where I am from: and I have not come of my own will, but he that sent me is true, whom you know not.
Then said Jesus to them, When you have lifted up the Son of man, then shall you know that I am he, and that I do nothing of my own will; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things.
