Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come that he should depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them to the end.

Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying, Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.

Then came he to his disciples, and said to them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

When I was daily with you in the temple, you stretched out no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

And it came to pass, when the time was come that he would be received up, he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,

And the Jews’ passover was near at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.

And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come, that the Son of man should be glorified.

For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said to him, Buy those things that we have need of for the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God, and was going to God;

A new commandment I give to you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

You have heard how I said to you, I go away, and come again to you. If you loved me, you would rejoice, because I said, I go to the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go from here.

I came forth from the Father, and have come into the world: again, I am leaving the world, and going to the Father.

These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour has come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

And I have declared to them thy name, and will declare it: that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon him, went out, and said to them, Whom do you seek?

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, said, I thirst.

And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,

And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was near.

Then they sought to take him: but no one laid hands on him, because his hour had not yet come.

Then Jesus said to them, My time has not yet come: but your time is always ready.

These words spoke Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no one laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Who shall also confirm you until the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast until the end;

But Christ was faithful as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

And we desire that every one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end:

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

We love him, because he first loved us.

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first born from the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. To him who loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
