Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak of my own will: but the Father who dwells in me, he does the works.

He that does not love me does not keep my sayings: and the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go from here.

From now on I do not call you servants; for the servant does not know what his lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.

For I have given to them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

Truly, truly, I say to you, We speak what we know, and testify what we have seen; and you do not receive our witness.

And what he has seen and heard, that he testifies; and no man receives his testimony.

Then answered Jesus and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do: for whatever things he does, these also does the Son likewise.

I can of my own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I do not seek my own will, but the will of the Father who has sent me.

Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.

Jesus answered them, and said, My teaching is not mine, but his that sent me.

I have many things to say and to judge concerning you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard from him.

Then said Jesus to them, When you have lifted up the Son of man, then shall you know that I am he, and that I do nothing of my own will; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things.

Jesus said to them, If God were your Father, you would love me: for I proceeded and came from God; neither did I come of my own will, but he sent me.

I will raise up for them a Prophet from among their people, like unto you, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him, to show his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and symbolized it through his angel to his servant John:
