For Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive by the Spirit:

And he satisfies justice for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring here the ephod.
