And many came to him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spoke concerning this man were true.
And said to his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works reveal themselves in him.
And when they had found him, they said to him, Everyone is looking for you.
In the meantime, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, to the extent that that they trod one upon another, he began to say to his disciples first of all, Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s strap I am not worthy to unloose.
This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
