All things are delivered to me by my Father: and no one knows the Son, but the Father; neither does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son will reveal him.
Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our dwelling with him.
Jesus said to him, Have I been such a long time with you, and yet you have not known me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father; and how can you say then, Show us the Father?
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was revealed in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
