No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from me, says the LORD.
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Truly, truly, I say to you, He who hears my word, and believes in him who sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but has passed from death to life.
Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for that food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give to you: for him has God the Father sealed.
For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
However for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might demonstrate all longsuffering, for a pattern to those who would afterwards believe in him to life everlasting.
For which reason I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed to him until that day.
(For the life was made known, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was made known to us;)
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made known that they were not all of us.
