And the apostles, when they had returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into an uninhabited place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

The day after Jesus desired to go on into Galilee, and found Philip, and said to him, Follow me.

Philip found Nathanael, and said to him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

And Nathanael said to him, Can any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see.

Nathanael said to him, Where do you know me from? Jesus answered and said to him, Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.

The same came therefore to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and requested of him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.

Philip came and told Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip told Jesus.

When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company coming to him, he said to Philip, Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?

Philip answered him, Two hundred silver coins worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.

And when they came in, they went up into an upper room, where Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James were all staying.
