My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.
Will you speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?
Not for any injustice in my hands: also my prayer is pure.
And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech worth nothing?
My words shall come from the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall speak knowledge clearly.
Should I lie, contrary to my being right? my wound is incurable, though I have not transgressed.
Now therefore be content, look upon me; for it is evident to you if I lie.
Yet you have not known him; but I know him: and if I would say, I do not know him, I would be a liar like you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
As the truth of Christ is in me, no one shall deprive me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
