He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he does not behold the pathway of the vineyards.

Behold, as wild donkeys in the desert, they go forth to their work; rising early for a prey: the wilderness yields food for them and for their children.

They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, so that they have no covering in the cold.

If I have eaten the fruits of it without money, or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:

You shall sow, but you shall not reap; you shall tread the olives, but you shall not anoint yourselves with oil; and sweet wine, but shall not drink wine.

The fruit of your land, and all your labors, shall a nation which you know not, eat up; and you shall be only oppressed and crushed always:

And he shall eat the fruit of your cattle, and the fruit of your land, until you be destroyed: which also shall not leave you either grain, wine, or oil, or the increase of your cattle, or flocks of your sheep, until he has destroyed you.
