He lures also the mighty with his power: he rises up, and no man is sure of life.

He leads princes away spoiled, and overthrows the mighty.

Those who come after him shall be astonished at his day, as those who went before were frightened.

He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who has hardened himself against him, and has prospered?

With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
