My kinfolk have left, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.

Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spoke against me.

For now you are nothing; you see my casting down, and are afraid.

My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my wound; and my kinsmen stand afar off.

But you, O LORD, be merciful to me, and raise me up, that I may repay them.

Yea, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who ate of my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.

He has put forth his hands against those who are at peace with him: he has broken his covenant.

You have put away my acquaintances far from me; you have made me an abomination to them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.

But Jesus said to him, Judas, are you betraying the Son of man with a kiss?
