Flee, depart far off, dwell in the depths, O you inhabitants of Hazor, says the LORD; for Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has taken counsel against you, and has conceived a purpose against you.

And their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter into all winds those who are in the farthest corners; and I will bring their calamity from all sides thereof, says the LORD.

Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter: woe to them! for their day has come, the time of their visitation.

O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a fire signal in Beth-haccerem: for evil appears out of the north, and great destruction.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out my hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and those of Dedan shall fall by the sword.

And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

Though Edom says, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus says the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The land of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD has indignation for ever.

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains;

And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made for themselves the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strongholds.

When the men of Israel saw that they were in difficulty, (for the people were distressed,) then the people hid themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits.
