Who is this coming from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? one who is glorious in his apparel, traveling in the greatness of his strength? I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
Kerioth is taken, and the strongholds are surprised, and the mighty men’s hearts in Moab at that day shall be like the heart of a woman in her birth pangs.
For I have sworn by myself, says the LORD, that Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes.
But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:
Namely, Bezer in the wilderness, in the plain country, of the Reubenites; and Ramoth in Gilead, of the Gadites; and Golan in Bashan, of the Manassites.
