Come up, you horses; and rage, you chariots; and let the mighty men come forth; the Ethiopians and the Libyans, that handle the shield; and the Lydians, that handle and bend the bow.

He who flees from the fear shall fall into the pit; and he who gets up out of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for I will bring upon it, even upon Moab, the year of their visitation, says the LORD.

Flee, turn back, dwell in the depths, O inhabitants of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time that I will visit him.

Because you were glad, because you rejoiced, O you destroyers of my heritage, because you have grown fat like the heifer eating grass, and bellow as bulls;

Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter: woe to them! for their day has come, the time of their visitation.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.

Because you have had a perpetual hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity reached its limit:

The days of visitation have come, the days of recompense have come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of your iniquity, and the great hatred.

Who lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat the lambs from the flock, and the calves from the midst of the stall;

You should not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, you should not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their possessions in the day of their calamity;

The best of them is like a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of your watchmen and your visitation comes; now shall be their perplexity.

Again, he sent out other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage.

But Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked: you have become fat, you have grown thick, you are covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.
