Then Jeremiah took another scroll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides them many like words.

And the LORD said to Moses, Cut two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which you broke.

Then Baruch answered them, He pronounced all these words to me with his mouth, and I wrote them with ink in the book.

And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and threw it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the scroll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.

Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD which he had spoken to him, upon a scroll of a book.

Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his face was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was accustomed to be heated.

In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.

And if you will not yet for all this listen to me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

And if you walk contrary to me, and will not listen to me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

Then will I also walk contrary to you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

Then I will walk contrary to you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

I Tertius, who wrote this epistle, greet you in the Lord.

For I testify to every person that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If anyone shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book:
