For it shall come to pass in that day, says the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke off from your neck, and will burst your bonds, and strangers shall no more be served by him:
And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away off from your shoulder, and his yoke off from your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cling to the house of Jacob.
That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart off from them, and his burden depart off from their shoulders.

And I will bring back to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, says the LORD: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.
And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those who made them serve them.
