Therefore all those who devour you shall be devoured; and all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and those who plunder you shall be a plunder, and all who prey upon you will I give for a prey.

Let them all be put to shame and turned back that hate Zion.

But if you shall indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries.

For the LORD will plead their cause, and plunder the soul of those that plundered them.

And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD as servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.

Woe to you that plunder, and you were not plundered; and deal treacherously, and they did not deal treacherously with you! when you shall cease to plunder, you shall be plundered; and when you shall make an end of dealing treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with you.

Behold, they shall surely assemble together, but not by me: whoever shall assemble together against you shall fall for your sake.

No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from me, says the LORD.

Pour out your fury upon the heathen who do not know you, and upon the families that do not call on your name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.

Thus says the LORD against all my evil neighbors, who touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.

Israel was holiness unto the LORD, and the first fruits of his increase: all that devour him shall be guilty; evil shall come upon them, says the LORD.

And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, says the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.

Why do you cry for your affliction? your sorrow is incurable for the multitude of your iniquity: because your sins were increased, I have done these things to you.

The voice of those who flee and escape out of the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, vengeance for his temple.

The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they have come, and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein.

They have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all my enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that you have done it: you will bring the day that you have proclaimed, and they shall be like me.

Let all their wickedness come before you, and do to them as you have done to me for all my transgressions: for my sighs are many, and my heart is faint.

And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.

Because you have had a perpetual hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity reached its limit:

And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD has spoken it.

Now also many nations are gathered against you, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.

Then she who is my enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her who said to me, Where is the LORD your God? my eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down like the mire of the streets.

But with an overflowing flood he will make a complete end of their place, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

You are filled with shame instead of glory: drink also, and let your foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD’S right hand shall be turned to you, and shameful spewing shall be on your glory.

I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, by which they have reproached my people, and boasted themselves against their border.

So the angel that communed with me said to me, Cry out, saying, Thus says the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.

And I am very much displeased with the heathen who are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling to all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses plundered, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

For thus says the LORD of hosts; After the glory of his deliverance he has sent me to the nations which plundered you: for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye.

And the LORD your God will put all these curses on your enemies, and on those who hate you, who persecuted you.

He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity: he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

And the children of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines, and they plundered their tents.
