Therefore fear not, O my servant Jacob, says the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save you from afar, and your descendents from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be at rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.

After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am your shield, and your exceeding great reward.

And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give you rest from your sorrow, and from your fear, and from the hard service with which you were made to serve,

No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up on it, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:

Fear not: for I am with you: I will bring your children from the east, and gather you from the west;

Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:

Thus says the LORD who made you, and formed you from the womb, who will help you; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executes my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not delay: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.

Behold, these shall come from afar: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.

But thus says the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contends with you, and I will save your children.

Fear not, for you shall not be ashamed; neither be perplexed, for you shall not be put to shame: for you shall forget the shame of your youth, and shall not remember the reproach of your widowhood any more.

And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries to which I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

And I will set up shepherds over them who shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, says the LORD.

In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name by which he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

But, The LORD lives, who brought up and who led the people of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries to which I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

And I will be found by you, says the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places to which I have driven you, says the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place from which I caused you to be taken away captive.

In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance to your fathers.

For, lo, the days are coming, says the LORD, that I will bring back the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, says the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name with which she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.

You also, who have judged your sisters, bear your own shame for your sins that you have committed more abominable than they have: they are more righteous than you: yea, be perplexed also, and bear your shame, in that you have justified your sisters.

And you shall say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to those who are at rest, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who stands for the children of your people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, every one who shall be found written in the book.

And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the birds of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.

I will even betroth you to me in faithfulness: and you shall know the LORD.

Also, O Judah, he has appointed a harvest for you, when I returned the captivity of my people.

Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.

Now why do you cry out aloud? is there no king in you? is your counselor perished? for pangs have taken hold of you as of a woman in birth labor.

In that day, says the LORD of hosts, shall you invite every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.

Fear not, daughter of Zion: behold, your King comes, sitting on a donkey’s colt.
