Thus says the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.

And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, says the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.

And I will pursue them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and a hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations to which I have driven them:

Behold the siege mounds, they have come to the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what you have spoken has come to pass; and, behold, you see it.

And when he comes, he shall strike the land of Egypt, and deliver those that are for death to death; and those that are for captivity to captivity; and those that are for the sword to the sword.

And in the fourth month, in the ninth day of the month, the famine was severe in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.

And great earthquakes shall be in different places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

But woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck, in those days! For there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed after him. And power was given to them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
