And there they left their images, and David and his men burned them.

Thirty two years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years, and departed without being desired. However they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchers of the kings.

I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.

If I go out into the field, then behold the slain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, then behold those who are sick with famine! yea, both the prophet and the priest go about into a land that they do not know.

But to the land to which they desire to return, there shall they not return.

Thus says the LORD, Write this man as childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his descendents shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.

The LORD showed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had taken away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.

Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon did not take, when he took away Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah captive from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;

And king Zedekiah the son of Josiah reigned instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon made king in the land of Judah.

There shall be lamentation generally upon all the housetops of Moab, and in the streets thereof: for I have broken Moab like a vessel that no one desires, says the LORD.

Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall plunder the treasure of all pleasant vessels.

Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel in which is no pleasure.
