O LORD, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you shall be ashamed, and those who depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.
Hear the word of the LORD, you who tremble at his word; Your brethren who hated you, who cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
O the hope of Israel, the savior thereof in time of trouble, why should you be like a stranger in the land, and like a traveling man who turns aside to stay for a night?
Let them be put to shame who persecute me, but let me not be put to shame: let them be dismayed, but let me not be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.
Because they have forsaken me, and have made this place strange, and have burned incense in it to other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;
For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and dug out for themselves cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
All who found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We do not offend, because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the hope of their fathers.
And my hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and you shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
That you may remember, and be astonished, and never open your mouth any more because of your shame, when I am pacified toward you for all that you have done, says the Lord GOD.
The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and speak forth his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
Jesus answered and said to her, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that says to you, Give me a drink; you would have asked of him, and he would have given you living water.
But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
And he said to me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him that is thirsty of the fountain of the water of life freely.
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him who hears say, Come. And let him who is thirsty come. And whoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them to living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
