Who is a wise man and possessing knowledge among you? Let him show out of good conduct his works with the meekness of wisdom.

And to man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

Whoever is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the loving kindness of the LORD.

For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within you.

For the LORD takes pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

And in your majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and your right hand shall teach you awesome things.

Who is like the wise man? and who knows the interpretation of a thing? a man’s wisdom makes his face to shine, and the fierceness of his face shall be changed.

He who keeps the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerns both time and judgment.

The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

The multitude of camels shall cover your land, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the LORD.

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

Who is the wise man, who may understand this? and who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD has spoken, that he may declare it, for what cause the land perishes and is burned up like a wilderness, that none passes through?

Thus says the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:

And he changes the times and the seasons: he removes kings, and sets up kings: he gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those who know understanding:

Seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth, who have obeyed his commands; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be you shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.

(Now the man Moses was very meek, more than all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest for your souls.

Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King comes to you, meek, and sitting upon a donkey, and a colt the foal of a donkey.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will compare him to a wise man, who built his house upon a rock:

I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? No, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

Now I Paul myself plead with you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you:

Therefore show them, and before the churches, the evidence of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf.

Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Brethren, if a man is overtaken in a fault, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.

But let everyone test his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love;

Only let your conduct be suitable for the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, merciful compassion, kindness, humility of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Let no one despise your youth; but be an example to the believers, in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

But you, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

In meekness instructing those who place themselves in opposition; if God will perhaps give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

To speak evil of no one, not to be brawlers, but gentle, showing all meekness to all men.

Let your conduct be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you,

Therefore put away all filthiness and abundance of wickedness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

Yea, a man may say, You have faith, and I have works: show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

My brethren, do not have many teachers, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easily approached, full of mercy and good fruits, without bias, and without hypocrisy.

But as he who has called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conduct;

Having your conduct honest among the Gentiles: that, although they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great value.
