And the LORD said to David my father, Since it was in your heart to build a house unto my name, you did well that it was in your heart.

Then they said one to another, We do not do well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we stay till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.

Love does no harm to its neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Nevertheless you have done well that you took part in my affliction.

But concerning brotherly love, you do not need me to write to you: for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues in it, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

So speak ye, and so do, as those who shall be judged by the law of liberty.

You believe that there is one God; you do well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He that speaks evil of his brother, and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law, and judges the law: but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
