For if anyone is a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like a man beholding his natural face in a mirror:
As for the word that you have spoken to us in the name of the LORD, we will not listen to you.
Whoever comes to me, and hears my sayings, and does them, I will show you whom he is like:
And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
For now we see through a glass dimly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
For he beholds himself, and goes his way, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
