And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill your root with famine, and he shall slay your remnant.
Yet the fortified city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.
And this shall be a sign to you, You shall eat this year that which grows of itself; and the second year that which grows from it: and in the third year sow, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
And on all hills that shall be dug with the mattock, there shall not come there those who fear briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending out of oxen, and for the treading of sheep and goats.
But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left some of the poor of the people, who had nothing, in the land of Judah, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time.
