The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he spoke forth his voice, the earth melted.

The earth shook, the heavens also poured down at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

Why should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the avenging of the blood of your servants which is shed.

And be ready for the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Behold, I will make you to be a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: you shall thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shall make the hills like chaff.

Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory: where is your zeal and your strength, the pleading of your sympathy and of your mercies toward me? are they restrained?

We are yours: you never ruled over them; they were not called by your name.

Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; and the mountains shall drop down sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.

And the Lord GOD of hosts is he who touches the land, and it shall melt, and all who dwell in it shall mourn: and all of it shall rise up like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.

And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall split in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

And immediately coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

And I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face earth and heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
