Who is this coming from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? one who is glorious in his apparel, traveling in the greatness of his strength? I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.

And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his place.

Binding his foal to the vine, and his donkey’s colt to the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:

And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his place.

Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall plunder those of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.

Come near, you nations, to hear; and listen, you people: let the earth hear, and all that is in it; the world, and all things that come from it.

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; my elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment leading to truth.

I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I did not say to the children of Jacob, Seek me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

I have sworn by myself, the word has gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

For every battle of the warrior is with a tumult, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from this time forwards even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

And upon Kerioth, and upon Bozrah, and upon all the cities of the land of Moab, far and near.

For I have sworn by myself, says the LORD, that Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes.

Thus says the Lord GOD; Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and avenged himself upon them;

Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

Thus says the Lord GOD; Are you he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied for many years in those days that I would bring you against them?

The vision of Obadiah. Thus says the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumor from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise, and let us rise up against her in battle.

And your mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, so that every inhabitant of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.

The LORD your God in the midst of you is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over you with joy; he will rest in his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

I have loved you, says the LORD. Yet you say, How have you loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? says the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

Therefore he is able also to save to the greatest extent those who come to God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.

Who are kept by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

And he was clothed with a garment dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
