For as the earth brings forth her bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring up; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth: and it was so.

There shall be a handful of grain in the earth on the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

Awake, O north wind; and come, you south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.

Drop down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up with it; I the LORD have created it.

I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not delay: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.

O that you had obeyed the words of my commandments! then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea:

And the LORD shall guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and make fat your bones: and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters never fail.

Violence shall no more be heard in your land, devastation nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.

Your people also shall all be righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof goes forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burns.

And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory: and you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

And give him no rest, till he establishes, and till he makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

But he who received seed into the good ground is he who hears the word, and understands it; who also bears fruit, and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

And he spoke many things to them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went out to sow;

But other seed fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixty fold, some thirty fold.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
