And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,

And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entrance of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice to him, and said, What are you doing here, Elijah?

And he said, Hear therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the farthest part of the one wing to the farthest part of the other was ten cubits.

And he set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.

For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the poles thereof above.

You, even you, are LORD alone; you have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and you preserve them all; and the host of heaven worships you.

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Behold, he puts no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight.

Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:

Bless the LORD, you his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearing and obeying the voice of his word.

Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.

God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence by all those who are around him.

And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.

Moreover he said, I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

And the cherubims spread out their wings on high, and covered with their wings over the mercy seat, with their faces one to another; even toward the mercy seat were the faces of the cherubims.

Then flew one of the seraphims to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from the altar:

Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.

And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, like the noise of a host: when they stood, they let down their wings.

And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire returning in upon itself, and a brightness was around it, and out of the midst thereof as the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.

Their wings were joined one to another; they did not turn when they went; they went every one straight forward.

And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also did not turn from beside them.

Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

A fiery stream flowed and came forth from before him: a thousand thousands ministered to him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

Yea, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening sacrifice.

And he answered and spoke to those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And to him he said, Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with a change of garments.

And the whole multitude of the people were praying outside at the time of incense.

And of the angels he says, Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people,

And the four beasts had each of them six wings around him; and they were full of eyes within: and they do not rest day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.

And all the angels stood round about the throne, and around the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshiped God,

And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabitants of the earth because of the other notes of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
