And he said, Hear therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
Again he said, Therefore hear the word of the LORD; I saw the LORD sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.
For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
Thus says the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that you would build for me? and where is the place of my rest?
Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
Then I looked, and behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them what looked like a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.
Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD’S glory.
For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, at once there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
I beheld till the thrones were put down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool: his throne was like a fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even visibly, and not in dark speeches; and the likeness of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.
And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no one was able to enter into the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
The twenty four elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that lives for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
