For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

The LORD is near to those who are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

Then you shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon your altar.

That men may know that you, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, are the most high over all the earth.

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.

Your throne is established of old: you are from everlasting.

For you, LORD, are high above all the earth: you are exalted far above all gods.

Let them praise your great and awesome name; for it is holy.

Who is like unto you, O LORD, among the gods? who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

You in your mercy have led forth the people which you have redeemed: you have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.

The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.

Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

Better it is to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted to you;

For those things of him which are invisible, since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, by the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

So that on the contrary you ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, so that he will not perhaps be swallowed up with too much sorrow.

Nevertheless God, who comforts those who are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before you; and shall say, Destroy them.

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

But he gives more grace. Therefore he says, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Likewise, you younger, submit yourselves to the elder. Yes, all of you be subject to one another, and be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble.

Who shall not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you only are holy: for all nations shall come and worship before you; for your judgments are made known.

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things says he who is holy, he who is true, he who has the key of David, he who opens, and no one shuts; and shuts, and no one opens;

And the four beasts had each of them six wings around him; and they were full of eyes within: and they do not rest day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.

There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none besides you: neither is there any rock like our God.
