​How long will you forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long will you hide your face from me?

​My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before your eyes: nevertheless you heard the voice of my supplications when I cried out unto you.

Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over by my God?

Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD has comforted his people, and will have mercy on his afflicted.

The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying, Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.

Why do you forget us for ever, and forsake us such a long time?

Therefore, O you son of man, speak to the house of Israel; Thus you speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?
