Moreover the multitude of your strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passes away: yea, it shall be in an instant suddenly.

Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a broken place ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking comes suddenly in an instant.

Because your rage against me, and your tumult, has come up into my ears, therefore will I put my hook in your nose, and my bridle in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way by which you came.

Behold, I will send a blast of wind upon him, and he shall hear a rumor, and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.

Let them bring them forth, and show us what shall happen: let them show the former things, what they are, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare to us things to come.

The first shall say to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that brings good tidings.

Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and show us former things? let them bring forward their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.

Tell it, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who has declared this from ancient time? who has told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no other God besides me; a just God and a Savior; there is none besides me.

There failed not anything of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel; all came to pass.
