So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus says the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What have you to do with peace? follow behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he is not coming back.
Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus says the king, Is it peace? And Jehu answered, What have you to do with peace? follow behind me.
Listen, O isles, to me; and obey my words, you people, from afar; The LORD has called me from the womb; from the body of my mother has he made mention of my name.
And they shall go out, and look upon the carcasses of the men who have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring to all flesh.
