Go out from Babylon, flee from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, proclaim it even to the end of the earth; say, The LORD has redeemed his servant Jacob.
And what one nation in the earth is like your people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and awesome, for your land, before your people, which you redeemed to yourself from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?
Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been taken away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had taken away to Babylon, and came back to Jerusalem and Judah, every one to his city;
Sing to the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, you that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.
But now thus says the LORD who created you, O Jacob, and he who formed you, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are mine.
Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD has comforted his people, and will have mercy on his afflicted.
And he said, It is a light thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give you for a light to the Gentiles, that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth.
Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth, Say to the daughter of Zion, Behold, your salvation comes; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.
Set up waymarks, make tall heaps: set your heart toward the highway, even the way which you went: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these your cities.
Declare ye among the nations, and annuonce, and set up a standard; announce, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is astonished, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are put to shame, her images are broken in pieces.
Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD’S vengeance; he will repay to her a recompense.
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not sharers in her sins, and that you do not receive of her plagues.
