His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear indeed, but understand not; and see indeed, but perceive not.

For my people are foolish, they have not known me; they are stupid children, and they have no understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:

Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, who have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.

Therefore I speak to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

He has blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; so that they would not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I would heal them.

And Jesus said, For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see might see; and that those who see might be made blind.

Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin: but now you say, We see; therefore your sin remains.

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion; that blindness in part has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
