I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia tree, and the myrtle, and the olive; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together:

He shall cause those who come from Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.

Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.

The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring up; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.

Your people also shall all be righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

For as the earth brings forth her bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring up; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.

To appoint for those who mourn in Zion, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for food, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to its months, because their waters they flowed out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for food, and the leaf thereof for medicine.

Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is your fruit found.

I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the valley; and behind him there were red horses, speckled, and white.
