And what will you do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from afar? to whom will you flee for help? and where will you leave your treasures?
They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore have you visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.
For, behold, the LORD is coming out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall reveal her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
Behold, the Lord has one who is mighty and strong, who as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall throw them down to the earth with his hand.
And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall show the downward stroke of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.
And he shall pass over to his stronghold in fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the banner, says the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you.
And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:
The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
And you shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal: yea, you shall flee, as you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with you.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in various places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the rest were frightened, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and heavy hail.
And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.
