No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from me, says the LORD.
Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your health shall spring up speedily: and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.
Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring to you the strength of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
Violence shall no more be heard in your land, devastation nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.
Your people also shall all be righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
To appoint for those who mourn in Zion, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof goes forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burns.
Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; build up, build up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory: and you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
Beloved, when I applied myself to write to you of the common salvation, I felt it necessary to write to you and urge you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints.
